Former basketball player and current TV personality, Seo Jang Hoon has been receiving criticism online for “being stingy” with his donation for COVID-19 victims and how much she slashed rent by for the tenants in his buildings.

It’s been reported that the famous real-estate giant of Korea slashed rent by 10% for the tenants of his multiple buildings.

He was already known for charging less rent than the buildings around his but in light of the recent struggles faced by businesses due to the coronavirus, he decided to reduce rent a little more for the next 2 months.

It was also reported that Seo Jang Hoon donated 100 million won (~$85,000 USD) for those affected by the outbreak.

But some netizens didn’t think he contributed enough.

Despite his generosity, the star has been receiving mean comments for “stingy”, and netizens believe he should have slashed the rent by a higher percentage following the news that Rain and Kim Tae Hee slashed the rent of their buildings by 50%.
