MAMAMOO’s Solar Was Stuck On A Deserted Island — And Things Got Extremely Dangerous

“In the middle of the night, I really thought we might die like this.” — Solar

MAMAMOO’s Solar decided to live on a deserted island and document the experience for fans…but Mother Nature had other plans in mind.

During the first night, heavy storms began to rage over the country with 30~50mm of rain every hour.

Solar immediately reported to her tent with the rest of the crew around 8:30 P.M. as the heavy rain became more and more intense.

The weather was so severe that filming couldn’t take place. Solar was thankful to have fellow MAMAMOO member Moonbyul by her side during this time.

After spending the night in the tent, they received confirmation that the boat that was going to pick them up and bring them back to civilization had been cancelled due to severe weather.

The staff soon realized that even staying in the tent was a danger to everyone involved. They had no choice but to walk to the other side of the island and find a management office.

We’re just going to take what we need first and we need to go to the other side of the island. If it gets better, we’ll come back and get our stuff.

Instead of having a deserted island experience, the girls had an evacuee experience!

Luckily, everyone was able to make it to the building and stay safe during the rest of the dangerous weather.
