It was BamBam’s first time on the show, but he revealed he had previously spoken with host Pramote Pathan (also known as Oat Pramote Pathan) who is a DJ, actor, and singer in Thailand. He then disclosed that Pramote was the only person in the entertainment industry who had used informal speech with him in Thai.

BamBam shared the story of when he had called into EFM Station‘s radio show that was hosted by Pramote. BamBam said that his mom is a fan of the show and he had tried calling them 100 times before he was able to get on the air.

When he was connected with the show’s hosts on the air, Pramote had used the words goo and meung in Thai while speaking with BamBam, which are informal and can be offensive if used outside of conversations with close friends.

Pramote clarified that when BamBam called in, he thought the idol was a prank caller. Listeners recognized BamBam’s voice and Pramote began rapidly receiving texts from BamBam’s fans letting the host know of his mistake.

Pramote said that when he checked BamBam’s Instagram and saw the number of followers he had, he realized the extent of BamBam’s fame. He then jokingly told BamBam that he should have announced that he was famous.

Pramote took this opportunity to set the record straight by playfully telling viewers he would have never addressed him informally had he known he was super famous. All was forgiven and they continued on with the fun interview.

GOT7 has officially confirmed their anticipated self-titled EP to be released on May 24.
