GOT7‘s BamBam recently uploaded a video to his personal YouTube channel where he took the MBTI test since he felt like many of his fans might not know his MBTI result.
Specifically, he thinks fans “wonder whether [he is] ENTJ or ESTJ.” Since he has often gotten ENTJ as his past result, but fans feel he fits ESTJ better.
ENTJs are known as the “Commander” type. They’re usually seen as natural-born leaders with lots of charisma, who are reliant on logic and rationality to achieve their goals.
ESTJs are known as the “Executive” type. They’re usually seen as embracing honesty, dedication, and dignity. They tend to bring people together and give clear advice to those that need it.
The main difference between the two personality types BamBam associates with himself is based on sensing and intuition. Sensing types obtain information by looking at details and applying those details to the larger world. In contrast, intuiting types are out-of-the-box thinkers who start with the big picture and work back to the details.
After taking the test, thinking through every decision…
BamBam reveals that his MBTI result is ESTJ.
Admittedly, BamBam was surprised that he didn’t get ENTJ.
But he eagerly read the description for ESTJs, ultimately deciding it suited him incredibly well.
Well, who is an ESTJ person?
Formal, practical, realistic. Workhorse.
Bami, who is ESTJ, tries to criticize something for not meeting the standards honestly and objectively.
Which BamBam already believes “seems right” for describing his personality.
In any situation, Bami will set a clear goal and do his best to achieve the goal. He’ll take steps one by one. He doesn’t like uncertain and vaugue situations. He likes to decide as quickly as possible.
And as he keeps reading the description, he can’t help but admit that it’s “totally correct.”
When he works, he feels rewarded when he gets concrete results.
As he learns more about ESTJs, BamBam is shocked by the description’s accuracy.
Others see Bami as a confident and shrewd person.
And while BamBam isn’t convinced that “shrewd” doesn’t have a negative connotation, his staff assure him that it just means he’s “sharp and clever.”
As he keeps reading, BamBam sees the “style of personal relations” sections, assuming that his fans will especially like to see the description of how he would act in any sort of relationship.
Likes to debate, argue, and compete. Skillful and honest, but seems a bit inhuman.
And while he teases that the result means he’s a machine, BamBam admits that he knows what the result is trying to say.
I hear this a lot. When my friends talk about their worries, I know they want comforts. But I can’t do that. I always say you can do it like this and this. Then you can solve the problem.
And when the result explains that BamBam’s “main function” is thinking, his secondary is feeling, his tertiary is intuition, and his last is emotion… BamBam jokes that “it seems like [he] only [works].”
But, ultimately, he’s glad that emotion is his last function, preferring it to have thinking as his last.
And while BamBam is still surprised that his MBTI changed after four years of getting ENTJ results…
He admits that apparently, his fans knew him better than he knew himself.
