Following their first group comeback in five years, Girls’ Generation have treated fans to tons of new and fun content!
Most recently, all the members except Yuri and Seohyun made an appearance on The Game Caters 2, where they discussed their feelings about their comeback and played games together.
During one segment of the show, the group played a game where members would ask others to say what their strengths or weaknesses were. Some responses were hilarious like Hyoyeon mistakenly saying one of her strengths was being short-tempered and the other members either defending or attacking her about it.
When Tiffany was asked what her weakness was she hesitated for a moment before saying that she’s depressed sometimes. The other members and staff immediately reacted saying that even though she made a mistake in the game she shouldn’t be eliminated. Only Sooyoung started to vote to eliminate her before quickly changing her answer.
When asked why she did that, Sooyoung explains that there was a time that Tiffany had messaged that she was feeling sad and depressed and then did not respond to Sooyoung’s attempts to contact her. Because she was worried, Sooyoung rushed over to Tiffany’s house, but it turns out she was just sleeping.
Sooyoung also shares she’s gone over to Hyoyeon’s house as well to check on her after receiving similar messages, to which Yoona asks how she knows the password to get in. Taeyeon then says that Sooyoung knows all the members’ house passwords!
Because of her care and concern for her members, Sooyoung memorized their passwords in order to be able to get to them if there are any sort of emergencies or accidents or just to check up on them when they are feeling down. The other members then praise her for her reliability and generosity, so it’s clear they appreciate having her as a friend!
These moments show Sooyoung’s true personality as someone who would go the extra mile for her members and friends! You can learn more about the members’ personalities by checking out their MBTI results below:
