BTS Fans Are All Asking The Same Question, “Where is ‘BTS World’?”

A update on BTS World’s release date, and Netmarble’s second BTS game.

Last year, South Korean game publisher Netmarble Games announced that a cinematic BTS game was in development, but it’s been a long time since fans were given an update.

BTS World is a cinematic game wherein players manage and develop each of the group’s members. The game will reportedly incorporate 100+ BTS video clips and 10,000+ photos.

Some of this content will come from photo shoots and videos that BTS recorded specifically for BTS World.

“BTS members practiced acting of more than 100 drama episodes just for this game. It will be a simulation game with actual cinematic images where you can foster each BTS member.”

— Jun Hyuk Bang, President of Netmarble Games.

Originally, the company planned to launch BTS World in 2018, but the launch date has been postponed to the first quarter of 2019. Netmarble Games is also developing a second BTS game, which may end up launching before BTS World. Details about this new game have not been revealed.

“The new BTS game is still in the planning stage and we’ll announce it when we have more details.”

—  Seung Won Lee, Chief Global Officer of Netmarble

News of BTS World‘s delayed release may not sit well with fans, who have been eagerly awaiting its arrival…

…but the good news is, ARMY now has two games to look forward to!
