YG Entertainment says “Unpretty Rapstar” Moon Sua not part of lineup for new girl group

More news regarding YG Entertainment‘s new girl group have surfaced as they confirmed which known trainees won’t be joining the lineup.

Since the exciting news that YG Entertainment would finally be launching and debut a new girl group this summer, fans have been speculating who would be joining the final lineup, including Jennie Kim, Kim Jisoo, Jang Hanna and Moon Sua.

Born in 1999, Sua first grabbed attention when she was confirmed as part of the Unpretty Rapstar 2 lineup where she attracted viewers with her visuals and cute personality, a contract to when she raps. On the show, she was revealed to have been a trainee under YG Entertainment since 2010.

However, YG Entertainment has recently confirmed that Sua would not be part of their new girl group lineup, adding that she still has a way to go as a trainee. The agency has also previously announced that Jang Hanna, a contestant from K-Pop Star 3, would also not be joining the new girl group as they have plans for her to debut solo.

On the other hand, Kim Jisoo (1995) and Jennie Kim (1996) are said to be most likely to be joining the group. YG Entertainment has yet to deny those rumors.
