University Releases Official Apology Regarding Using Similar Logo To Kim Jae Hwan’s Fan Club

ChungAng University released an official apology statement.

Swing Entertainment posted the official apology letter from ChungAng University’s 62nd student union regarding using a similar logo to Kim Jae Hwan’s fan club name.

 

 

They started by apologizing for their lack of thoroughness in researching the logo before using it. “We want to apologize for not taking enough time to research thoroughly before using the name.”

 

They also apologized for not handling the messages regarding the logo properly. “We would also like to apologize for not handling the messages received from fans through our official Facebook and social media channels regarding this matter.”

 

They concluded the letter by stating that they would change the logo as soon as possible and make sure an event like this would not happen again. “We understand that our apologies and regrets will not be enough. We will change all logos and names and make sure that another incident like this will not happen again.”

We formally apologize to Kim Jae Hwan and his fan club <WIN:D>. Hello, this is Lee In Jae and Jo Jae Yeon from ChungAng University’s 62nd Student Union. We want to apologize for using the <WIN:D> logo and hurting both fans and Kim Jae Hwan. The name <WIN:D> was chosen after a discussion on November 5 during the election period. We want to apologize for not taking enough time to research thoroughly before using the name. We would also like to apologize for not handling the messages received from fans through our official Facebook and social media channels regarding this matter. We understand that our apologies and regrets will not be enough. We will change all logos and names and make sure that another incident like this will not happen again. We apologize for being late on the apology letter and causing a disturbance to Kim Jae Hwan and his fans. Once again, we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and will work efficiently to have the logo changed as soon as possible.

 

 

Previously, fans reached out to ChungAng University’s 62nd student union regarding their logo being almost exactly the same as Kim Jae Hwan’s fan club name. Fans were not satisfied with the way the union handled the situation, causing a dispute between both parties.
