TXT Thanks BTS For Being The Wings To Their Dreams

TXT are honored to have a group like BTS to look up to!

TXT expressed both their burden and determination of being a junior group directly under BTS.

On October 21, TXT held their first showcase for their first full-length album, The Dream Chapter: MAGIC, at Yonsei University’s 100th Anniversary Concert Hall.

This is their first album since the release of their debut album, The Dream Chapter: Star, 7 months ago.

During the showcase, the band performed “Run Away” on the stage for the first time, and expressed the pressure of being Big Hit Entertainment’s first boy band after BTS.

Yeonjun commented, “Producer Bang Shihyuk told us to believe in the company and work hard.”

In regards to being compared to BTS, he continued, “We haven’t met them often since they are quite busy, but they always showed great support when running into each other in the practice room.”

Taehyun added, “We will work hard so as not to shame BTS. It’s an honor to be a direct junior of a group as great as BTS. We are still learning step by step.”

Soobin commented, “We know that BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have given us big wings, and we plan to work hard so that we can fly high.”

In terms of goals and hopes for the new album, Huening Kai answered, “We hope that you will love our first full-length album just as much as you loved our debut album. Our goal is to win the rookie award at this year’s end-of-year award ceremony.”

The new album’s title song, “Run Away,” is a synth-pop tune concept. Other songs on the album include “New Rules,” “Roller Coaster,” “Poppin’ Star,” “Can’t We Just Leave the Monster Alive,” “Magic Island,” “20cm” and “Angel or Devil.”

TXT is a 5 member group that debuted in March of 2019 under Big Hit Entertainment.
