TWICE Cancels “TWICELIGHTS in Seoul” Finale Concert Due To Coronavirus Outbreak in Korea

JYP explained it all in a long statement.

TWICE was scheduled to hold their final leg of the “TWICELIGHTS Tour” series in Seoul on March 7 and 8. However, JYP Entertainment announced that the event has officially been canceled due to the increasing coronavirus outbreak in Korea.

They first apologized to all the fans who were looking forward to the concert, and continued on to explain how the members themselves had been preparing so hard to debut a special performance at the finale. They too are deeply saddened by the news of the cancelation.

As it was the last concert for the TWICELIGHTS Tour, the artists have been preparing diligently in between their busy scheduled to repay all of the support with new performances. We are greatly regretful that we will not be able to meet the fans and cancel the event instead.

They vowed to help the fans get their refunds as soon as possible, while the goods that they planned to introduce at the finale will be available to purchase for all the fans through an online site that’s yet to be mentioned.

We will announce more information about ticket cancelations, refunds, and more in a separate statement. We will make sure that everyone will be able to cancel and be refunded the correct amounts as swiftly as possible without any further inconveniences.

As for the goods that were scheduled to be sold at the concert site, they will be made available for purchase online.

Hello, this is JYPE.

Due to the recent increase of the CODIV-19 cases, TWICELIGHTS in Seoul ‘Finale’ that was scheduled for March 7 and 8 will be cancelled.

We sincerely apologize to the fans who have supported and have been looking forward to the concert. As it was the last concert for the TWICELIGHTS Tour, the artists have been preparing diligently in between their busy scheduled to repay all of the support with new performances. We are greatly regretful that we will not be able to meet the fans and cancel the event instead.

However, when taking into account the current increase of the coronavirus outbreak, we believe it is more important to put the health of the artists and the fans first. As the government has issued measures to avoid a large gathering that could have older people in the group, we had decided to cancel the event to follow the protocols of preventing a further breakout of CODIV-19.

Again, we want to thank everyone who have supported and shown interest in TWICELIGHTS in Seoul ‘The Finale’, and we will do our best to return with a better and safer event for the fans.

Thank you.
