SHINee’s Minho Sent To Emergency Room After Injury On His Face

The injury was caused by shards from the special effects.

SHINee’s Minho was sent to the emergency room after suffering an injury to his face during the filming of his upcoming movie, Jangsari 9.15.

 

According to his agency, the idol’s injury was caused by flying shards from the special effects during one of the shoots.

“During a filming in Yeongduk on the 2nd, [Minho] suffered abrasions on the left side of his face due to the flying shards from the special effects props.”

Minho was sent to the emergency room for treatment shortly after and will be taking time to treat his injury and fully recover.

“He was immediately sent to the emergency room for treatment and we plan to watch over his progress as he receives the treatment. The film was scheduled to take a 3 to 4-day rest for preprations and moving. Minho will be returning to film once he receives full treatment and is completely stable.”

Meanwhile, the movie, Jangsari 9.15, is a historical film that tells the story of the Jangsa Landing Operation and the 772 student soldiers of an average age of 17 that were sent in with just 2 weeks of training in order to help ensure the success of the Battle of Incheon. Minho was cast as one of these 772 students alongside ㅏKim Myung Min, Megan Fox, Kwak Si Yang and more.

Jangsari 9.15 is scheduled to be released in 2019.
