Here’s All You Need To Know About BTS’s Collaboration Project For FIFA World Cup 2022

They teased this development months ago.

On July 28, it was announced that BTS will join Team Century, the official ambassador team of the campaign Goal of the Century by Hyundai Motors. As a part of this campaign, the group will be participating in various activities, including a music collaboration project.

The group will be representing the number 7 jersey together under Team Century and starring in different campaigns worldwide to promote the cause. Hyundai has also launched a Hyundai Goal of the Century Pledge giveaway where fans can visit the FIFA app and submit their own sustainability pledge. 11 lucky contestants will win a trip to Qatar and get to watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup live.

BTS’s song for this project is speculated to be released in the second half of this year. Meanwhile, the members opened up about why they chose to be a part of this campaign and what they wished to achieve through it.

Talking about their motivation behind joining Team Century, Jin explained, “Creating a sustainable world is no longer just a task for any one person. It’s the goal of the century that everyone can achieve in solidarity.

We want to show you a lot more to achieve Goal of the Century with Hyundai and Team Century members, please look forward to what’s coming.

When asked about their goals for this campaign, J-Hope said this was a way to create a sense of hope for future generations to help them keep going despite the current despair in society. RM elaborated, “Just as I enjoy and take pleasure in the earth, I want to share beautiful nature with the next generation. That’s my Goal of the Century.”

In April, Hyundai had already hinted at this campaign through a video titled Goal of the Century where RM was the voice narrator. Though fans expected the video to be a hint of some future project, this announcement has still caught them off-guard.

Needless to say, ARMYs are excited at the prospect of some new OT7 music soon.
