MONSTA X’s Wonho Writes Handwritten Letter To Fans On Leaving The Group

MONSTA X’s Wonho apologizes to fans.

MONSTA X‘s Wonho announced that he would be leaving the group due to the recent controversies.

Aside from Starship Entertainment‘s statement, Wonho has also written a handwritten letter for his fans.

Hello, this is Wonho. I’d first like to apologize for not being able to keep my promise of making only good memories as well as hurting fans through this incident. I am also truly sorry for hurting everyone due to my troubles. I’ve received an overwhelming amount of love and blessings during my time as a MONSTA X member. I am genuinely thankful to everyone for giving me these precious memories. I also thank our members for always being there for me during the hard times. I want to tell them that I love them and am truly sorry.

There have been some embarrassing and childish times in my life, but after becoming a trainee and debuting as an idol, I’ve focused on my work and tried my best to be someone I’m not ashamed of. I am here to tell everyone that as of today, I will not be a part of MONSTA X. I’m sorry to my members for having to deal with unfortunate events due to things that are related to me. I am mostly sad for the fans that have trusted in me since the beginning. I cannot handle seeing so many people hurt because of me.

I want to take this time to sincerely apologize to fans that have stood by me and supported me all this time. Please continue to support MONSTA X. The members have nothing to with any of the claims made. I hope that everyone can please support and encourage our members. Our members are great people, and my problems should not hurt them. I sincerely thank and apologize to all the staff and members for allowing me to experience this kind of happiness.
