JTBC‘s newest variety show, The Sea I Wished For (literal title) will have a star-studded assortment of hosts!
According to a report by Sports Chosun, The Sea I Desire (also referred to as The Sea I Desire)is a “healing entertainment program” in which the hosts will be offering guests homemade dishes and live music performances! It aims to give guests the chance to get away from their busy lives and spend a relaxing day by the sea with delicious food and good music.
The hosts will be actor Lee Dong Wook, actresses Kim Go Eun and Lee Ji Ah, producer Yoon Jong Shin, as well as SHINee‘s Onew and AKMU‘s Suhyun. Each of the hosts have their own area of expertise within the roles they will have to fulfill: chefs, tour guides, performers and baking.
Lee Ji Ah will be the head chef, while Lee Dong Wook will be the head bartender and Onew will be in charge of the bakery and will make the desserts for the guests. Kim Go Eun will get the opportunity to showcase her love for the sea–and her scuba diving license–and will be able to act as an ocean guard and tour guide. Yoon Jong Shin, Onew and Suhyun will all take on performing roles, with Suhyun also acting as the entertainer and “mood maker.”
Various musicians will appear as special guests throughout the duration of the show. As of right now, Zai.Ro and MeloMance’s Jung Dong Hwan are already scheduled to be some of the special musical guests.
The Sea I Wished For will start on June 29 at 9:00 PM KST.
