17 K-Pop Songs Are Ranking On Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart

17 out of 25 is a huge majority!

Each week, Billboard posts a list of 25 songs on their World Digital Song Sales chart to show which international singles are making the most sales in the United States. With K-Pop’s growing popularity in the country, there are often several songs from the genre on this list, and this week, they make up the vast majority!

For the week of January 9, 2021, 17 of the songs on the list are K-Pop!

First up on the chart is BTS, with their song “Stay” ranking at #1 this week. Now on its 6th week on the chart, it shot up from its #16 position last week.

As is commonly the case, BTS has several songs ranking this week — 8 total, in fact. Their second-highest ranking is “Life Goes On”, placing at #2 for its 6th week on the chart, the same as it ranked last week. They also take the #3 position with “Filter”, now on its 43rd week on the chart and rising from #6 last week.

Their next placement on the list is #9, with “My Time”. This song, now also on its 43rd week, was at the same placement the week before. “Euphoria” ranks at #10, now on its 46th week on the chart and up from #11 last week. #17 is taken by “Mic Drop” (ft. Desiigner), up from #21 last week and now on its 129th week on the chart.

The last two BTS songs that are on the chart this week are “Boy With Luv” (ft. Halsey), ranked at #19 for its 68th week and up from #23 last week, and “ON”, which re-entered the chart for its 22nd week at #24.

BLACKPINK has a couple of songs trending as well. “How You Like That” is their highest-charting at #7, now on its 26th week and up from #15 the previous week. “Kill This Love” is ranked at #15 after re-entering the chart for its 78th week.

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” also re-entered the chart this week, ranked at #16 for its 88th week on the list. And finally, “Lovesick Girls” is ranked at #18 after also re-entering the list for its 7th week.

TWICE has a couple of songs ranking right now too! “Cry For Me”, which hit the #1 place last week, spends its 2nd week on the chart at #11. “I Can’t Stop Me” is also charting this week, placed at #13 for its 10th week on the chart and down from #11 last week.

Three more K-Pop songs finish up the chart this week. TXT‘s “Blue Hour” spends its 4th week on the chart at #22, after re-entering the list this time around. Kai‘s “Mmmh” takes the #23 position, also re-entering the chart for its 3rd week. And finally, Stray Kids finishes off the list with “Back Door” ranked at #25, now on its 5th week on the chart after also re-entering this week.
