Kim Ui Seong Warns Netizens to Leave TWICE’s Sana Alone Following Japan’s Recent Economic Retaliation

Japanese idols working Korea were undeservingly targeted by some netizens following the controversy.

Following Japan’s recent economic retaliation against Korea, actor Kim Ui Seong publicly defended TWICE‘s Sana from netizens who claimed that all Japanese idols should be kicked out of the country.

Kim Ui Seong recently made a post on his official Facebook account which reads, “Why would you kick out Sana? She’s not the one who should be kicked out. Anyway, don’t you dare lay a finger on Sana.

Ahead of this incident, Japan enforced tightened exportation regulations of key semiconductor materials which has caused Korean consumers to engage in boycotts of Japanese products.

Furthermore, some netizens have been demanding that all Japanese idols working in Korea should be kicked out of the country as well.

As a result, innocent idols such as TWICE’s Momo, Mina, and Sana, and IZ*ONE‘s Sakura Miyawaki, Nako Yabuki, and Hitomi Honda have been unnecessarily targeted.

On the other hand, other netizens have been defending the idols stressing that it’s not fair to attack the Japanese idols for injustice at the government level.

And actor Kim Ui Seong was one of those who came to their defense in light of the recent controversy.
