Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, And More Cast & Details Confirmed For SKY Castle PD’s New Drama “Snowdrop”

Get ready for 2021’s first hit drama.

Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, and more cast details have been confirmed for upcoming JTBC drama Snowdrop. JTBC released their press statement today confirming the six actors who will comprise the main cast for Snowdrop.

The main cast will include Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Kim Hye Yoon, Jang Seung Jo, Yoon Se Ah, and Jeong Eugene.

Snowdrop is a drama that is set in 1987 and tells the love story between a male student who suddenly finds himself in a women’s dormitory at Hosu Women’s University. The drama is led by Jo Hyun Tak PD and writer Yoo Hyun Mi, both of whom worked on the 2018-2019 mega-hit drama SKY Castle.

Jung Hae In will play the role of Lim Soo Ho, a graduate student who attends a prestigious university. A Korean from Germany, he is the perfect man who everyone adores with his gentle charisma, sweet smile, and hidden charms. One day, a series of unknown circumstances leads him to a blind date at the women’s dormitory, where he meets Young Cho. He returns to her later, under a series of different circumstances, bloodied.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo will take on her first ever drama lead role with the role of Eun Young Cho, a freshman in the English Literature department. She is the mood-maker in the women’s dormitory room 207, and fell in love with Lim Soo Ho at first sight during their blind date. She was reunited with Lim Soo Ho when he was injured as she treated his injuries.

Jang Seung Jo will play the role of Lee Gang Mu, a man on a mission who is disciplined and won’t back down from any situation.

Yoon Se Ah will play the role of Pi Seung Hee, the headmistress of the women’s university dorm. Holding absolute power in the dormitory, she is a strong woman who won’t bleed a single drop of blood, even if she is stabbed. As the headmistress, she strikes fear into all of the students in the dormitory.

Kim Hye Yoon will play the role of Kye Boon Ok, the telephone operator at Hosu Women’s University. She had to give up going to university due to a lack of money caused by her family’s circumstances, and eventually gets caught up in the drama after being sent to the blind date as a substitute.

Finally, Jeong Eugene will play the role of Jang Han Na, an impulsive and hot-tempered NIS agent, but she is also very passionate about her work.

Snowdrop is planning to begin broadcast in 2021.
