On December 1st, Billboard announced that Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Taeyang’s collaboration track “Good Boy” debuted at number 1 on their World Digital Songs chart.

According to Billboard, the song started “atop the chart with just three days of sales, moving 5,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.”

The song had originally caught the attention of Billboard earlier in November, and has topped charts in Korea to achieve the coveted all-kill status, as well topping international charts on iTunes. G-Dragon and Taeyang are also set to release “Good Boy” in Japan as well, with the tentative release date being December 17th.

The music video for the EDM and hip-hop track has also been doing extremely well, reaching 10 million views in little under a week.

“Good Boy”‘s debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s World Digital Songs chart, officially making the duo the third K-pop act to top the chart. The other artists to have achieved this feat are fellow YG Entertainment labelmates PSY (who did so with his hit songs “Gangnam Style,” “Gentleman,” and “Hangover”) and 2NE1 (with “I Am the Best”).

Congratulations G-Dragon and Taeyang on this amazing accomplishment!
