Former AOA‘s Mina, who is now active as an actress, took to her Instagram on the 3rd of July 2020 to express her grievances with the bullying she experienced in the band, and in particular, with member Jimin.

Jimin was quick to respond to the original accusations, resulting in Mina uploading not one, but two other posts on it.

Former AOA’s Mina repsonds to AOA Jimin’s rebuttal in a first post.

Mina had refuted Jimin’s defense of herself, as she was armed with witnesses and evidence.

Go ahead and say it’s fiction. Unnie will receive punishment for it, don’t be like this. There are witnesses and evidence.

Mina also further brought up another incident, in which she was scared of Jimin scolding her for being late to a practice session that she simply gave up on going.

I called in advance to say I was going to be late to the dance practice room. But upon hearing unnie‘s voice, I felt that you would kick up a fuss again so I couldn’t even go to the dance practice room.

What was even more shocking was that she felt so helpless that she had attempted suicide the very day.

On the day itself, I also attempted suicide.

Mina continues to reveal that this was only the tip of the iceberg – there were many other instances that she is simply holding back on.

Unnie, should I reveal more stories or not? There’s so many things that it’s annoying to write it all down.

Mina ends off the rebuttal by begging to have her memories erased as well, in order to stop her suffering. She ends off taking one last jab at Jimin, accusing her of feeling no guilt.

Please erase my memories too, unnie. Please, please. Then again, unnie wouldn’t feel guilt even looking at my wrist, right?

It seems that Mina could not hold in her emotions any longer, as she followed up with proof of her suicide, as well as a continuation of her grievances.

Mina shares a heartbreaking image of her scars on her Instagram.

Along with a photograph of her scars, she claimed that all she wanted from Jimin was a sincere apology.

What I hope is just for you to admit you did wrong, in front of me. Just one sincere apology and that’s it.

I only revealed one out of 1000000000000 things. Go ahead and say it’s fiction. Unnie will receive punishment for it, don’t be like this. There are witnesses and evidence. I’m sorry but there’s no need to hear from both sides. I have nothing that I did wrong. Right at the end, I was getting my hairline done but the numbing hadn’t worn off yet so I called in advance to say I was going to be late to the dance practice room. But upon hearing unnie‘s voice, I felt that you would kick up a fuss again so I couldn’t even go to the dance practice room. On the day itself, I also attempted suicide. I think that was the largest thing I did wrong. So, now I’m finished revealing all the things I’ve did wrong. Unnie, should I reveal more stories or not? There’s so many things that it’s annoying to write it all down. You said that it’s all fiction but if you have a conscience… Why should I erase it? Go ahead and say it’s fiction – there will be quite a number of people around you that will be dumbfounded. Ah, but I guess you said you don’t remember that too and that you’re not such a terrible b*tch? Wow, it must be great to be able to erase your memories so well. They say those that speak badly of someone doesn’t remember it anyway. Please erase my memories too, unnie. Please, please. Then again, unnie wouldn’t feel guilt even looking at my wrist, right? Perhaps you’re thinking, say it to my face.

— Former AOA’s Mina in her first post

Unnie, it’s way too scary of a story to call it fiction. I went for scar treatments 3~4 times so it got lighter. But unnie, my memories aren’t fading. I’m going crazy each and every day. Jimin unnie – laws? Lawsuits? I don’t have the money to do that. I can’t. Mental health damage compensation? I don’t need it all and I have no intention of getting it. I just feel that it is so, so unfair that I am being ruined by you. It hurts and I’m having a hard time. What I hope is just for you to admit you did wrong, in front of me. Just one sincere apology and that’s it. You who tortured me is living way too well…  I’m suffering every day just by opening my eyes. But I need to be the breadwinner for my family. Do admit your fault and apologize. Let me have some release as well, hmm?

— Former AOA’s Mina in her second post

While AOA’s agency at the time FNC Entertainment has not yet responded, Kwon Mina’s new agency overseeing her career as an actress stated, “We’re not too concerned about the situation. We, as her agency, always keep our eyes on her though as she does take medication for anxiety.”
