Fans criticized for pretending to be reporters at recent premiere of INFINITE’s documentary film

INFINITE were all the talk today as reports about their fans disrupting their press conference for their youth drama Grow: INFINITE’s Real Youth Life received criticisms online.

On December 1st, INFINITE held a press conference and special screening to promote of their film, Grow: INFINITE’s Real Youth Life, held at the CGV in Wangsimni, Seoul.

However, the event is reported to have been temporarily postponed as fans appeared at the event pretending to be members of the press, which led to more security measures to take place. It was described that fans applied for press passes for the event, using the names of fake media outlets and identities to cover the event.

Once the breach was discovered, the event was halted as they escort the impersonators out of the venue.

This is not the first time that such breach was attained as fans previously pretended to be reports on the premiere of Cart featuring EXO’s D.O.

Meanwhile, INFINITE’s documentary film will be released in the cinemas on December 4th.
