EXO’s Lay, NCT 127, and Jason Derulo to Collaborate on Michael Jackson Tribute Song

The inclusion of K-Pop phenomenons are a nod to MJ’s commitment to diversity within art.

EXO‘s Lay, NCT 127 and American singer Jason Derulo will be collaborating on a Michael Jackson tribute project, in honor of the late singer’s 60th birthday.

Four singles will be released as a tribute to Michael Jackson, a project headed by 769 Entertainment, run by Jerry Greenberg. Greenberg is the former president of MJJ Music president, founded by Michael Jackson in 1993.

One single will be featuring Jason Derulo, NCT 127, and EXO’s Lay. The track is co-written by Jason Derulo, Ant Clemons, and Bong Bytheway.

According to Greenberg, Michael Jackson was “all about diversity and inclusion bringing us all together through his artistry.” The inclusion of international K-Pop phenomenons are a nod to this sentiment.

Lay tweeted earlier today to celebrate Michael Jackson Day, expressing how much of an inspiration MJ is to him.

An official release date has not yet been announced, however the four singles will be rolling out over a 10-month period.
