BTS’s Jungkook Reveals How He Feels About Having His Picture Taken

He explains why he has never liked it much.

BTS‘s Jungkook loves to perform in front of thousands of people, but when it comes to taking photos, he would rather be behind the camera.

In a new interview, Weverse Magazine’s Myungseok Kang pointed out Jungkook’s feelings about this, saying, “You get your picture taken a lot, but you don’t pay much attention to the ones you’re in.”

“I never really liked having my picture taken,” Jungkook replied with a laugh. “And I’m usually with the others when we’re working, obviously, but it’s hard to take a camera and take selfies. So I take pictures and videos of the other members every chance I get.”

When asked if he still finds it difficult to have his picture taken nowadays, Jungkook said that he does what is necessary for work, but he is more comfortable appearing in videos than he is in photos.

I put my best face forward when it’s for something I have to do, like for photo books, but it’s still not easy. Videos are okay, though.

Jungkook categorizes work into two categories: work he enjoys and work he finds difficult. He is comfortable doing anything related to creating music, but outside work, such as photoshoots, is not as easy for him.

Work related to music, like recording, composing, writing lyrics, filming music videos and things like that, are all fine. But anything outside of that is probably a challenge for me.
