Here’s How BTS Deals With Post-Concert Weight Loss And Weight Gain

They’re human, too!

During their concerts, the BTS members use all of their energy! Afterwards, they tend to eat a lot to get their strength back, and with that comes weight fluctuations. The members recently discussed just how things change the moment their shows end.

Jimin revealed that after the concerts concluded, he immediately gained weight.

After the concerts, over just 2 days, I gained 3 kg (about 6.6 lbs) of weight.

J-Hope commented that Jimin rightfully replenished his strength. However, not all members fall into this pattern.

Suga revealed he did the opposite. He shared that he’s trying to lose more weight and dropped 1 or 2 kg (around 2.2 to 4.4 lbs), leaving BTS shocked at his current weight.

61 kg (134.4 lbs) now?

At the opposite end, RM previously weighed 78 kg (171.9 lbs) but recently posted on Instagram that he dropped to 74 kg (163.1 lbs).

RM wants to lose even more weight to reach 72 kg (158.7 lbs), to which Suga agreed that performing feels much easier for him at a lighter weight.

However, for some people, they might feel less energetic after losing some of their strength.

That’s why J-Hope recommends eating well and doing other healthy habits to prepare for their next show.

You need to eat well. I recently started to take Gongjin-dan (herbal medicine) again. I’m gearing up for the Las Vegas show now.
