“Sweet Night” is following in “Black Swan’s” footsteps.

BTS‘s has joined an elite iTunes club that only has two members: BTS and Adele!

On July 6, BTS’s “Black Swan” became the song with the most #1’s worldwide on the iTunes Charts. Thanks to dedicated fans, “Black Swan” jumped from 97 to 103 countries, breaking its own personal record, and surpassing Adele.

Adele set her record (102 countries) in 2015, when she released the critically-acclaimed song “Hello”. As of July 7, “Black Swan” has 104 countries under its feathered belt.

Now, V has joined the “100 club” with “Sweet Night”, a solo song for the Itaewon Class OST. “Sweet Night” has now charted at #1 worldwide on iTunes in 101 countries, making V the third highest-charting artist on iTunes. The spot was previously held by Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do” (99 countries).

Previously, “Sweet Night” smashed PSY‘s eight-year-old record for “Gangnam Style” to become the first Korean soloist with the most #1s on the iTunes charts. On May 24, V matched PSY’s record (86 countries) without any promotions, before finally breaking it.
