BTS Reacts To Their Record-Breaking Concert And 3 VMA Nominations On SiriusXM

This comeback is sure to set even more records for the group!

Today, BTS called in to SiriusXM Hits 1, a top 40 radio station, in order to discuss their hit comeback, “Dynamite”. They spoke with hosts Tony Fly and Simon about various subjects, such as the meaning behind “Dynamite” and some of the records they’ve broken and awards they’re nominated for.

Earlier this year in June, due to the pandemic cancelling previous tour plans, BTS held a virtual concert that ended up being the most-viewed livestreamed concert ever.

“We were supposed to be on tour, but due to the current circumstances, we had to do it online,” Suga said when asked about the concert. “I think we were able to achieve such good results because the fans were really eager to see our performance.”

He continued, concluding, “We had a great time seeing our fans enjoying it so much.”

The group has also been nominated for 3 categories at the VMAs this year, which is a huge accomplishment!

When asked what they can tell fans about their planned VMA performance, RM said, “We’re gonna perform “Dynamite” for the very first time… And you know, we’re nervous, but, you know, it’s gonna be, you know, powerful as always.”

He finished with a playful “Boom! Disco disco.”
