On March 26, it was announced that Jungkook’s 2018 track, “Euphoria,” had sold 500,000 units in the U.S, making it eligible for a Gold RIAA certificate! Although BTS has achieved many RIAA Gold certification’s, this is the first time a male K-Pop idol’s solo track has achieved such success in the US!

In order to qualify for an RIAA Gold certification, an artist must sell a minimum of 500,000 units and “Euphoria” has reached that after being released in 2018.

The only other K-pop artist to have a solo track eligible for gold status was BLACKPINK Jennie‘s Solo in 2019!

Congratulations to Jungkook on this achievement!
