BTS has made movie history again!
BTS’s third theatrical release, Bring The Soul: The Movie, played in select theaters from August 7 to August 11. On its first day alone, the film played in over 5,000 theaters and grossed $24.3 million worldwide. Due to its immense popularity, four more days were added to the theatrical run.
On August 28, Big Hit Entertainment and Trafalgar Releasing announced that Bring The Soul: The Movie had sold 2.55 million tickets. The film was shown in a total of 112 territories worldwide, making it the most widely released event cinema title in movie history.
It has also broken all of the cinema records previously set by BTS’s first two concert films, Burn The Stage: The Movie and BTS World Tour: Love Yourself in Seoul.
Once again, BTS proves that they’re their own greatest competition!
