K-Pop Takes Over Twitter’s “Most Tweeted About Musicians In The US” List

Four groups made it into the Top 10 for 2020.

2020 was the year of K-Pop, and Twitter has the stats to prove it!

K-Pop groups claimed four of the Top 10 spots on Twitter’s annual “Most Tweeted About Musicians in the US” ranking, along with Kanye WestBeyonceDrakeMegan Thee StallionHarry Styles, and Bad Bunny. The ranking was determined by data that includes: the number of related hashtags, mentioned members’ names, and mentioned groups’ names.

SM Entertainment veterans EXO took the 7th spot, ahead of Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles, and Bad Bunny.

…and ATEEZ, the newest K-Pop group on the list, ranked 5th.

Between the release of their MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 and BE albums, and their chart-smashing single “Dynamite”, it’s no surprise that Big Hit Entertainment‘s superstars BTS topped Twitter’s list, surpassing Kanye West, Beyonce, and Drake.
