BLACKPINK‘s Rosé is giving fans the inside scoop about what it’s like to go solo while also being part of a group.
As part of the promotions for -R-, her first solo album, Rosé guested as a panelist on SBS‘s variety show My Little Old Boy to talk about her hit single, “On the Ground”, and more.
When asked about the cons of going solo versus being in a group, Rosé didn’t hesitate to open up about how difficult it was for her to make decisions without her members’ input.
What’s hard is this. When I do something, there must be times when you’re not sure about the choices you made, since I don’t have all the answers. So, when I’m put in a situation where I have to make a choice, I usually discuss it with my members.
I ask their opinions too. I can make decisions based on that. But for my single, I have to make all decisions by myself. I can’t depend on anyone. So that’s the hardest part.
The pros? Rosé gets more beauty sleep! “The good side is that it doesn’t take much time to get ready,” she said. “I don’t have to wake up that early.”
