The queens are coming back!

Earlier today, YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie will be making her solo debut sometime in November.

“With the aim to make her solo debut within the end of this year, Jennie is currently in the last stages of preparation.” ㅡ YG Entertainment

Following this exciting news, YG Entertainment stated that all four BLACKPINK members will be making a solo debut with Jennie being the first in line.

“All 4 members of BLACKPINK will be releasing a solo track. Jennie will be the first in line for this project, which will be proceeded along with BLACKPINK’s new song.” ㅡ YG Entertainment

YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, stated in a recent Instagram post that Jennie’s solo will be followed by Rosé’s, as he praised BLACKPINK for having extraordinary individual talent in addition to strong teamwork.

“We are simultaneously working on new BLACKPINK songs as well as solo projects for all 4 members at the moment.
JENNIE’s solo will be the first one to be released, to be followed by ROSÉ’s solo.

The biggest strength of BLACKPINK is that each member’s ability / talent as a solo artist is as strong as their teamwork / cohesiveness.”

In the meantime, “Kiss and Make Up”, BLACKPINK’s collaboration with Dua Lipa, is expected to drop on October 19 (US time)!

BLACKPINK has reportedly participated in nearly half the song, which was made at the request of Dua Lipa.

Moreover, the talented idol group will be holding their first solo concert, “BLACKPINK 2018 Tour [In Your Area] Seoul X BC Card”, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul on November 10 and November 11.
