BTS’s Offline Concert May Be Delayed… BigHit Entertainment Releases Statement

Uncertainties rise as COVID19 cases spike.

BigHit Entertainment had previously announced that the upcoming BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concert would be held both on and offline, much to the delight of fans that were anticipating seeing their idols once again in person.

However, it seems that ARMYs may have to wait a little longer to meet with BTS. On the 27th of August, BigHit Entertainment announced that they would have to monitor the current situation a little more, before coming up with proper details about the concert.

We will be carrying out preparations thoroughly so as to prevent any incidents that contribute to the rise in infections and create a safe concert space. After the issue about large scale gatherings have stabilized, we will then be releasing more details about the concert.

They will also be posting announcements separately about online streaming for the concert, and request fans to understand their reasons for this delay.

As COVID19 cases spike in South Korea, many are under uncertainty and fear. The country has currently moved into a higher level of social distancing and is urging everyone to stay home where possible.

Hello. This is BigHit Entertainment. This is an announcement about the upcoming BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concert.

The plans for the offline concert are to hold it on the 10th of October to the 11th of October on two days.  However, there has been a recent spike in COVID19 cases, and hence the uncertainty of the feasibility of our concert has risen. We will be checking on this carefully henceforth.

We will be carrying out preparations thoroughly so as to prevent any incidents that contribute to the rise in infections and create a safe concert space. After the issue about large scale gatherings have stabilized, we will then be releasing more details about the concert.
