Feel better soon, Captain!

On May 16, the members of ATEEZ returned to South Korea after successfully completing their months-long world tour, The Fellowship: Beginning of the End.

Upon arrival, all of the members underwent routine PCR testing for COVID-19 as part of the standard procedure to return to South Korea. Though Hongjoong had tested negative during a PCR test upon departing Amsterdam, he ended up testing positive during the test taken when they arrived back home.

Thankfully, he is currently asymptomatic, and all of the rest of ATEEZ’s members have tested negative at this time. He is currently in quarantine and has halted all scheduled activities for the near future.

Here is KQ Entertainment’s official announcement.

Hello.
This is KQ Entertainment.

This is to inform [you] that member Hongjoong has been notified of asymptomatic confirmation of COVID-19.

ATEEZ recently returned to Korea from Amsterdam, which is the last city of the European arena tour, after confirming negative results for COVID-19 by PCR test before departure.

After arriving in Korea on the 16th, a PCR test was conducted according to the quarantine procedure, and member Hongjoong tested positive on the 17th. Hongjoong does not currently have any special symptoms, but started quarantine and home treatment, and the other 7 members all tested negative.

All ATEEZ members, including Hongjoong, have completed their 3rd dose of vaccines. Also, we would like to inform you that Hongjoong had contact with the members, but they were all wearing masks on their return to Korea on the 16th.

Therefore, Hongjoong temporarily suspended all schedules, and Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho are maintaining their health and proceeding with their schedules.

We will do our best for Hongjoong to recover quickly.

Thank you.

We hope that Hongjoong recovers soon, and that none of the other members test positive in the days to come!
