Actress Park Hye Su, who was previously embroiled in school violence accusations, is reportedly resuming her entertainment activities with a new movie.
According to an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, Park Hye Su has been selected as the lead actress for the low-budget movie You and I, which began filming last week and is currently still filming.
You and I is a movie directed by Cho Hyun Cheol, who is also the writer and even acting in the movie. Park Hye Su and Cho Hyun Cheol have previously worked together in the movie Samjin Company English Class. You and I is classified as a low-budget movie as its production costs are estimated to be under ₩500 million KRW.
The movie was slated to begin filming earlier in 2021, however Park Hye Su’s school violence accusations came out, forcing the filming to be delayed.
Park Hye Su was accused of bullying a student during middle school, which her agency quickly denied. More netizens claiming to be bullied by her came out, however Dispatch shared that the people accusing her were lying about their claims. Her K-Drama Dear.M has already postponed its premiere date due to the controversy.
