4 British Producers Worked On Songs For BTS’s Map Of The Soul: Persona

Will Map of the Soul: Persona have Brit-Pop vibes?

In recent comebacks, Big Hit Entertainment has scoured the world to find talented producers to bring new and fresh sounds to BTS’s discography.

Map of the Soul: Persona is no exception as four foreign producers/production teams have tweeted about working on the album. All of them happen to be British.

1. Bad Milk

Bad Milk is an enigmatic music producer based in the United Kingdom. His best-known track is “Rocksteady”, a collaboration with United Vibrations and Jordan Rakei. He isn’t the most well-known producer but clearly, Big Hit has a lot of faith in his work.

He tweeted out confirmation that he worked on the sixth track on the album, “Jamais Vu”.

2. Marcus McCoan

Marcus McCoan is an artist and producer who first attracted attention with his single, “Chemical”. He recently had a comeback of his own with “Hair Down”, an electric pop song.

The Cornish producer worked on “Mikrokosmos” and “Jamais Vu” on Map of the Soul: Persona.

3. ARCADES

ARCADES is a production duo based in London who have previously worked with Ellie Goulding and Conor Maynard. J-Hope recently added their song “In The Air” to his Spotify playlist.

Just like Marcus, the pair worked on “Mikrokosmos” and “Jamais Vu” for BTS’s album.

4. Ryan Lawrie

Ryan Lawrie is a former competitor on the popular UK music survival show “X-Factor” and he has since transitioned into songwriting.

Ryan was particularly happy about working on Map of the Soul: Persona. He was one of the writers of Mikrokosmos.

With all this in mind, will Map of the Soul: Persona have a Brit-Pop vibe?
