Red Velvet Is Taking Over Luxury Italian Fashion Industry — 5 Brands They’ve Worked With

Look out, Italy! 🇮🇹

Look out, Italy—Red Velvet is taking over. Over the years, the members have been racking up deal after deal with luxury Italian fashion and accessory brands, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Here are five Italian brands the stars have worked with so far.

1. Prada

Red Velvet’s leader Irene was announced as the new ambassador for Prada last September alongside EXO‘s Chanyeol. In her first pictorials for VOGUE Korea, she can be seen wearing the brand’s recent Fall/Winter 2020 collection.

After the announcement, the idol-actress posted several pictures to her personal Instagram in which she was sporting Prada’s latest fashion looks.

2. Miu Miu

Before Irene’s Prada deal, there was Miu Miu. Her journey into luxury apparel started when she attended Miu Miu’s Paris Fashion Week show in 2019. At the show, she was dressed head to toe in Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, from her $1,900 USD fitted black blazer to her stunning gold dress.

After the show, she was seen shaking hands with Miu Miu’s founder Miuccia Prada, who is also the current head designer of Prada. Not long later, Miu Miu introduced Irene to its “Girl in Miu Miu” campaign, and she appeared in a Miu Miu-sponsored photoshoot for VOGUE Korea.

3. Damiani

Seems like Irene and luxury brands go hand in hand! Alongside Prada and Miu Miu, she was also selected as the muse for legendary luxury jewelry brand Damiani. The announcement was made in February 2019 when Damiani released dazzling photos of Irene in their elegant and expensive jewelry.

What makes the endorsement even more special is that Irene was the first Asian celebrity to become the brand’s chosen muse, joining Brad Pitt, Sofia Loren, and Gwyneth. While working with Irene, Damiani released several pictorials and CFs featuring Irene, including a gorgeous spring-inspired pictorial that made fans go crazy across social media.

4. Ferragamo

Of course, Irene isn’t the only member dominating the space. Seulgi also recently signed with an Italian luxury brand when she was chosen as the new brand ambassador for Salvatore Ferragamo this February.

The main dancer was featured in Harper’s Bazaar March issue wearing a stunning Ferragamo blazer and skirt while showing off her unmatched charisma. Fans had been speculating Seulgi may have a deal with Ferragamo before it was even announced after she teased the partnership on Instagram, and they’re hoping for plenty more content in the future.

5. Hogan

Last but certainly not least, idol-actress Joy also recently signed a brand deal with Italian luxury sportswear brand Hogan. This February, the brand announced the new partnership in a press release and sponsored a photoshoot for Joy in ELLE Korea‘s March issue.

In the pictorial, Joy looks stunning in several high-fashion outfits, including a beautiful sleek black dress, a vest-and-pants outfit, and more. Every look is paired with Hogan’s shoes, but Joy is the real star of the show.
