6 Real-Life BTS Mysteries That Have Finally Been Solved

Fans waited months, even years, for these questions to be answered.

BTS‘s music videos are steeped in mystery, but some real-life moments also leave fans with unanswered questions. Thankfully, these 6 BTS mysteries have finally been solved!

1. Suga’s university visit

In 2017, fans spotted Suga in a university stairwell, carrying an armful of books. At the time, many assumed that he was continuing his education on the side, despite his insanely busy schedule.

These photos remained a mystery until the BTS WORLD mobile game came out two years later.

In the game, Suga can be seen wearing the exact same outfit he wears in the above photos. Thanks to BTS WORLD, we now know that Suga wasn’t attending lectures, he was filming for his role as a piano major at the fictional Music Academy!

2. The “FAKE LOVE” masks

BTS’s “FAKE LOVE” (Extended) MV came out on June 1, 2018. In the video, and the live performances that followed, the members wear face masks that seem to defy the laws of physics.

How are the masks put on so quickly? How do they stay on without strings? It took 7 months to finally answer these questions.

Backstage at 2018 MMA, Jin revealed a simple, hidden mouthpiece inside his mask that he clamps onto to hold the mask in place. This allows the members to put the masks on and take them off with ease. Case closed!

3. Jungkook in Berlin

In October 2018, the paparazzi snapped photos of Jungkook walking the streets of Berlin during BTS’s concert stop in Germany.

For 10 months, fans finally found out what he was filming at the time: the Bring The Soul docu-series!

Jungkook can be seen wearing the same outfit in these screenshots.

4. Jin’s hanbok

On November 28, 2017, BTS arrived at Incheon Airport for the Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong. Jin’s fashion caught everyone’s attention. Everybody was dying to know why he wore this hanbok to board a plane.

Fans knew it must be a Run BTS! penalty, but no one knew why Jin received it until the episode with that game finally aired, two months later. All was revealed on January 4, 2018 in Episode 34.

5. Suga’s ring

At BTS‘s 2018 concert in Berlin, Suga lost his “A” ring by accidentally flinging it into the audience. Even the ring’s finder didn’t know what had happened to it until after the concert ended.

ARMYs searched the venue from top to bottom for the precious item, but it seemed to have mysteriously vanished…

…until this fan checked her pockets. The day after the concert, Twitter user Jimin_Fairy1412 revealed that she had found Suga’s lost ring. She had picked it up during the show, thinking it was a water bottle cap!

6. J-Hope’s “important business”

This is the most recently solved, real-life BTS mystery! While on vacation in August, J-Hope flew to Los Angeles for top-secret “important business”. Fans had theories, of course, but no one truly knew what he’d been up to until the following month.

J-Hope’s important business was his “Chicken Noodle Soup” collaboration with Becky G!
