5 Idols Who Would Probably Have Been Rich Even If They Hadn’t Debuted

They’d still be majorly successful and rolling in dough!

Sometimes it seems like idols are only rich because they debuted but that isn’t always the case. Whether it’s because they have a great business sense or they have an eye for fashion, here are 5 idols who would still have become rich even if they hadn’t debuted.

1. BIGBANG’s Seungri

Seungri might be a fantastic singer but he’s also a great businessman. Seungri used to own a dance academy that a lot of now-famous idols attended including EXID‘s Hyerin and BTSJ-Hope!

Now, he owns an extremely successful restaurant franchise that has expanded throughout Aisa called Aori Ramen. He also owns a very popular club called Monkey Museum, has a DJ label called Natural High Records, and owns a medical company called CubeBIO. With his fantastic business sense, there was no way he wasn’t going to be rolling in the dough.

2. Rain

While Rain may not have had a super successful clothing line he has been extremely successful in real estate. It’s estimated that the villa he owns is worth $5 million and he also owns a shopping mall that worth about $17 million!

And when he combined his assets with his wife, Kim Tae Hee, they became the richest K-Pop couple ever. Rain obviously has an eye for real estate that would have brought in the cash regardless of his singing career.

3. 2PM’s Taecyeon

Taecyeon‘s OKCat company is doing exceptionally well. What might have started off as a cartoon drawing as part of his signature has turned into a booming business!

He’s expanded the company into plushies and even makeup. Some may say that the success of his business comes down to him being an idol, but he actually is a good businessman and even studied business administration in college.

4. Jessica Jung

In 2014, Jessica started her own fashion brand Blanc & Eclare. The brand has been hugely successful selling clothing, accessories, skin care, and eyewear. All with Jessica serving as the creative director for the company.

The brand has stores throughout China, Korea, and Thailand as well as having a few stores in the U.K. and U.S. She must have some amazing business sense to be able to build such a large and successful brand.

5. Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha

Narsha released her own women’s clothing brand in 2016. Since she has always been praised for her great fashion sense, it made sense that she would launch W URBAN PEOPLES.

She serves as the fashion designer and the brand director of the company. It’s easy to say that she probably would have been rich regardless of her debut.
